knitting question!

  • Uhm, I'm trying to translate a English knitting pattern to Norwegian for my optician... : D And I'm having trouble with figuring out the difference between ssk and k2tog? O.O Please help? :D
  • ANSWER:
  • They are 'bookends' of each other (in appearance. k2tog results in 2nd stitch being in front of the 1st one (the left one, if you're knitting right-handed) and ssk results in the 1st stitch being in the front (the right one, if you're knitting right-handed) (SSK is executed by slipping 1st stitch, knit next stitch, pass slipped stitch over the knitted stitch.)
